According to multiple online report on Twitter and Facebook by corp members in Katsina State.
Some indigenes of Katsina state attacked two members of the National Youth Service Corp, cutting off the
thumb of one of them.
It was later discovered that this act was carried out because the male corp member was living together with a female corper, that he is not married to.
Many Nigerians shared their opinions, and stated that Nigeria would be a lot better without NYSC.
"Dis program should be scrapped! So far 7corp members have lost their lives! Its not worth it at all", and Instagram page ebk_Collections stated.
Another Instagram user, 99ishola also had this to say.
"Just scrap this program 9 out of ten news you hear about corpers is bad news"
